Featured Artist: John Philbin Dolan
I start all of my paintings with a Nitram (soft round batons- awesome drawing on the box cover!) charcoal drawing. Nitram is by far, the best charcoal available! Once you use it, you can never use another brand. Below are the preliminary drawings and completed painting of “The One.” It will be in The International Association of Pastel Societies 24th Annual Exhibition, at Vose Gallery in Boston, MA. from May 10 – June 21.
