“I am thrilled to be working on a 3.5-meter drawing that will be exhibited at the Nitram booth at CreativeWorld in Frankfurt, Germany. I couldn’t imagine tackling this project without Nitram products, especially Nitram Aquarelle, which has quickly become my favourite. It allows me to efficiently cover large areas of the drawing and work dynamically, making the process even more exciting. Nitram Aquarelle is ideal for creating a flawless surface that I can layer with additional charcoal, and it’s versatile enough to be used for fine details with a small brush. It lets me achieve a full grayscale range, from deep blacks to delicate light washes, helping me bring to life this dramatic image of the octopus resting in the depths of the ocean.”

Zuzanna Salamon is a Fine Art artist based in Edinburgh specializing in large-scale charcoal drawings. Her works focus on the exploration of the interplay between light and shadow and revealing the inherent poetry within the human form. Zuzanna exhibited in many international group exhibitions including the Royal Academy of Arts, the Royal Society of British Artists, and the Royal Scottish Academy. In 2024 she was awarded the de Laszlo Medal for Excellence.
