Goodbye France, next stop Canada

On Thursday May 12 all the “Fusains Making” equipment was loaded into a 40’ container.
Goodbye France - 40’ container
Next stop Canada. I had a last dinner with Daniel and Annie on Thursday evening. A local Rose Champagne helped set the mood of celebration. A lovely Bifteck was grilled over charcoal (Nitram rejects). As you can see Annie got dibs on the juicy bone.

For dessert Annie prepared some Acacia flower fritters. These were accompanied by fresh strawberries from her garden.
On Friday I did go to Natalie’s for the last lunch. I included a pic of my favourite desserty - “Flotant”.

On a sad note Natalie and her husband have sold their restaurant. I believe their last day is June 15. All good things must change.
