Award winning artist, Matthew Almy, graduated from the American Academy of Art in Chicago with a BFA. He later turned to The Florence Academy of Art to further his training, where he became an assistant instructor in the Intensive Drawing Program. After teaching a summer program and life drawing in Florence, Matthew returned to Chicago and founded the Ravenswood Atelier where he is the Director and Principal Instructor.
